Hallo zusammen!
Mein Deutsch ist noch nicht so gut, daher schreibe ich auf Englisch. I am using an AI to help me with the translation to make sure I am clear, as my English is also a work in progress. I hope that’s okay.
I moved to Düsseldorf this April to work for a Japanese company and will be staying here for a few years. In Japan, I was an enthusiastic rock fisherman (Iso-fishing), going to the Pacific coast every week to target Seabass and Kingfish. I also enjoy some offshore boat jigging.
I am very excited to challenge myself with European fishing, especially for Seabass on the Atlantic coast (France, Portugal, etc.). However, as a newcomer, I have some concerns regarding local rules and the language barrier.
Is it common for members of this forum to go on expeditions to the Atlantic coast? I would be very grateful for any advice, experiences, or information about the local scene.
Vielen Dank und Petri Heil!
